 Born and raised in La Pampa, I came to Buenos Aires to further my studies in English and Linguistics, to find that I wasn’t only interested in the verbal form of expression but in visual forms of art as well. Parallel to my work in the field of Education Consultancy, I studied Sculpture, Drawing, Painting and Ceramics in the private workshops of prominent masters like Leo Vinci, Carlos Gorriarena and Luis Felipe Noé. I created MRB EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANTS in 1983 and helped hundreds of Argentine students to pursue their dreams to attain higher education abroad.
I have participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Argentina and abroad and have received several distinctions. Among others, I was granted the third prize in Installation at the First Biennial of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires in 2012, the International Award “Lorenzo il Magnifico”, at the Florence Biennale in 2011, the Jury Award at the National Salon in Sculpture in 2010, the First Prize in Small Format Sculpture in 2007, and the First Prize in Sculpture at the Palais de Glace in 1975.
For the last ten years I have organized and curated the Annual ART SHOW for the UWC. I graduated as an Astrologer in 2011 and have been an amateur tango dancer for over 20 years. |
