 My name is Karla Stiborková, I was born in Frýdek - Místek in the Czech Republic. I live in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. I graduated from two universities - the Faculty of Education - the field of philology and the University of Ostrava - the field of art. For many years I worked as the director of an art school in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. I have been exhibiting since 1995. Since then I have had over 130 exhibitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad. I participated in 15 foreign pleners. I am a member of several foreign art associations, which present the work of their members on Facebook. These associations are from the United States, Germany, Italy, Poland, China and Japan.
The painting techniques I use are: acrylic, watercolor, encaustic and pastel. I paint abstract art or natural motifs such as flowers.
