 Claude Kattan is an artist based in NY City, born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. She first had her art education in Florida classes at Boca Raton museum art school. In 2010 she moved to NY and attended the ASL of NY to accomplish four years certificate in Fine Art and to be trained under the supervision of famous artists Also she attended courses in sculpture . Also, Claude is working in print making as etching, aquatint, lithography and linocut.
Her first beginning when she was teen age was painting in silk and glass, but her passion for Fine Art, led her to pursue her education and follow her dream to become a full time artist.
Her work has been shown in various Galleries in Florida, Chapel Hill, NC, Virginia, and NY. Claude won numerous awards such as at WITVA juried art show in Florida, and at Phyllis Harriman Mason Gallery in NY.
Also, she participated in group exhibitions at Manhattan Borough President’s Office in NY City, and various Venues.
Claude is a life member of the Art Students League of NY and has been working since 2012 as primary assistant teacher for children Classes at ASL in NY City, and working as a monitor for various art workshops at the ASL of NY.
