I was born in Osaka, Japan and led a very ordinary life.
After graduating from university, I worked for a financial company for five years.
The department to which I was transferred did not suit me, and I developed an adjustment disorder and decided to resign.
Against the background of the world being affected by COVID, I could not find a new job or a job I wanted to do, and spent six months doing nothing.

During those six months, I did everything I could think of for entertainment, and finally, the one thing that kept me occupied from morning to night was "painting," something I had been doing since childhood.
It was the most comfortable way for me to express myself in my life.

My basic style is to draw "images of the moment" from daily events, nature, and my five senses, without deciding what to draw, so I often express myself by drawing "now".
I also have a view of life and death that all living things are based on death, and I pursue these thoughts while traveling and painting.

I exhibit my work in department stores, paint murals in stores, live paint at events, and paint on any objects such as surfboards and bags.
I can also put my own interpretation of a customer's precious thoughts into the canvas.

My artist name, "ATTRACTION SAYURI," means that I have arrived at this place as an artist, a place where I was drawn by something, and I want to be attractive myself.
Furthermore, I hope that this will be a hope for others who are living in the same situation.

The artwork is my life itself, and I am projecting my own story.
