 Author's Note by Kim Ock-ran, 2023 Connecting the lines of folk painting. In the landscape over many years, I attempted to convey a slightly unfamiliar feeling, as if I were not a part of that scenery, but rather an outsider observing it. Was it an attempt to recreate the dream-like landscape that I briefly lingered in, tracing back through a long passage of time? While gazing at the waves crashing on the sea, I composed a poem in my mind. |
