Artist Notes
The theme of my paintings is to express our life coexisting in harmony with nature.
As in my life, I still do not understand where our lives come from and where they go, but I always believe that a life with a little less greed, a little less possessions respecting the value of coexistence is much more peaceful and relaxed. Especially a life in harmony with nature, it is a reverence for nature and a humility for our lives. Therefore, the objects where my gaze lingers are always old and worn objects comforting yet nostalgic with people's repeated handprints, landscapes that reflect the gentle and calm daily life of people who live in nature, and the little joy in our life in proper harmony with nature even in the city.
Just as these things bring me inner peace, I hope my paintings can bring a little solace to the people.
Watercolor, by its very nature, is for me the best way to convey the meaning I pursue in a relaxed and natural way.
