 Artist's statement
It has been over 50 years since I came to the planet called the Earth.
I dreamed of a fairy tale like a spring day and sometimes shed tears in the piercing wind, and yet never learned how to be mature.
Then, all of a sudden, at some point in my life, I took courage to take a step forward into the unknown as an artist.
Every day when I open my eyes, I feel every breath I take and walk slowly following the whispers in my heart.
I run into sunshine and wind that feel different every season, unknown flowers and lovely grass...
I cherish all living things that breathed with me as I was looking into and finding myself.
And at every moment of the process, my best friend, 'camera' was with me.
When I feel anxiety about this unknown path of an artist, I stop for a moment and fall deep into thoughts, looking back on the path I have walked.
Am I walking the right path
Should I go back
Is there any other way
Then, my friend, camera, would capture the blue sky and smile brightly like a child.
Dancing in the wind with the grass on the road.
In the sunlight, I also try to emit light.
Everything in the world holds the wind and gets sunlight.
At that moment, we become whole in this world.
I AM...
